It’s been a busy afternoon for the San Francisco 49ers. Christian McCaffrey was added to the injury report, but is expected to play. Meanwhile, we may have seen the last of Brandon Aiyuk in a Niners uniform.

As for Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans, the 49ers made a couple of moves ahead of that matchup. Linebacker Jalen Graham was activated from the practice squad, as was defensive lineman Sebastian Valdez.

The 49ers had the bye week to decide whether they needed to make any changes. They obviously had hoped Kendricks could be a part of that, but a setback will prevent him from playing in Week 15. Graham will likely continue his role on special teams with Eric Kendricks not having practiced all week with a calf injury.

Newly claimed linebacker Garret Wallow has been a lifetime special teamer. After a week of practicing, it’s hard to imagine he will play any defensive snaps. So, it’s likely Curtis Robinson remains the MIKE linebacker with Tatum Bethune out once more.

Valdez has not played a defensive or special teams snap this season. With Yetur Gross-Matos sidelined, Valdez gives the Niners an emergency body.
