I’ve been thinking about the fact that when you take away the pick 6 and the touchdown Dontae Johnson gave up(as always)…the eagles only put up 11 points, and they wouldn’t have even put those up if our DEs stayed disciplined and kept wentz in the pocket. So that does lead one to believe, at least without Mullens’ 3 game changing mistakes, the niners easily take care of business. I’m not saying Jimmy plays that game and throws 5 tds, but he doesn’t force key turnovers THREE times in one game. His quick release would have surely helped the wet paper O-line situation. I also feel like Mullens couldn’t see anyone on the field except Kittle! Another upside to Jimmy, he can spread the ball around to his receivers! Our corps are as healthy as ever and they are all capable of getting open…I feel we are at a point when kittle, samuel, ayuik and Bourne are on the field, you are guaranteed one open route. The gist of what I’m saying is, I still believe this is a great team that can win these games down the stretch. We will only get healthier and better as the season goes on. I mean…Rams and Seahawks both struggled with ridiculously subpar teams..(giants and dolphins) yet they are “in the top 10″….It’s an odd season and football is funny, you lose by 3 to a inferior team…you are trash, you barely win against an inferior team…it solidifies your strength????idk..anything can happen in the NFL.
