After falling to 3-4 with an ugly loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in a Super Bowl, the San Francisco 49ers faced the Dallas Cowboys in a highly-anticipated contest before a much-needed bye week. Following a slow start that saw the 49ers trailing at halftime, Kyle Shanahan’s squad looked like a different team in the third quarter.

With a 7-for-7 third quarter from Brock Purdy, the 49ers were able to take control of the contest. However, a pair of late touchdowns from CeeDee Lamb made the game tight down the stretch. While the Cowboys had the chance to take the lead in the fourth quarter, the 49ers’ defense helped slam the door late to secure a 30-24 victory in Santa Clara on Sunday night.

With the 49ers now heading into the bye week at 4-4, here’s the good and some of the bay from San Francisco’s 30-24 win over Dallas in Week 8.
