Let’s see if the Jets can dig themselves out of the hole they are in.

I doubt many of us want to watch any football after that 49ers blunder. If you’re interested the New York Jets are traveling to face the Pittsburgh Steelers. Most of you might be football’d out, or at the very least, wanting to hear some explanations for some bonehead decisions the 49ers made.

The Jets are interesting simply because they found a way to get Davante Adams in a trade. This gives Aaron Rodgers his favorite target when the two were with the Green Bay Packers. The Jets are 2-4 and in desparate need of a winning streak if they can stay in this, so Adams can help.

The Steelers are 4-2 and hanging in there. The big news is Russell Wilson will be getting his first start on Sunday night. Those of you 49ers fans will remember Wilson as the guy who gave Jim Harbaugh’s 49ers fits and those coaches who succeeded him.

FanDuel Sportsbook has the Jets favored by 2.5 points. I’m taking the Steelers in this simply because they are at home, and that defense might be able to hold down the Rodgers/Adams connection. But definitely bet the under of 39.5 points. There won’t be points in this. Might as well put money on Adams scoring two or more touchdowns as well. Since he’s Rodgers’ favorite target, that could get you some cash.

The week is almost over, 49ers fans.
