The San Francisco 49ers didn’t waste any time showing they didn’t have any type of Super Bowl hangover, dominating Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets in the regular season opener on Monday night.
Despite missing Christian McCaffrey, Kyle Shanahan’s offense rolled behind Jordan Mason and Deebo Samuel. Defensively, the 49ers stifled the Jets, keeping their star trio of Aaron Rodgers, Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall quiet all night.
Behind touchdowns from Samuel and Mason along with six field goals from Jake Moody, the 49ers cruised to a 32-19 win to start the season.
Here’s a look at some of the standout performers from Monday’s win in Santa Clara.
