While the San Francisco 49ers chances of a spot in the playoffs have been decided for some time now, their loss in Week 18 to the Arizona Cardinals helped officially turn the page to the offseason.

With the regular season wrapped up, the 49ers now know when they’ll be scheduled to be on the clock in the first round of the 2025 edition of the NFL draft.

With their record at 6-11, Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch will be on the clock just outside of the top 10 with the No. 11 overall pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. The No. 11 selection in the draft will be the highest pick the 49ers have received since selecting Trey Lance No. 3 overall in the 2021 draft.

The New Orleans Saints (No. 9) and Chicago Bears (No. 10) will be on the clock before the 49ers with the Dallas Cowboys (No. 12) and Miami Dolphins (No. 13) will follow. The 49ers will hold the highest pick in the NFC West with the Arizona Cardinals drafting at No. 16 and the Seattle Seahawks drafting at No. 18.

Here’s the 2025 NFL draft order for non-playoff teams:

1. Tennessee Titans (3-14)
2. Cleveland Browns (3-14)
3. New York Giants (3-14)
4. New England Patriots (4-13)
