As we do every week, we survey the pulse of San Francisco 49ers fans to feel how confident they are in the direction the team is headed.
The 49ers are coming off a much-needed bye week, where they can press the reset button. The team has won three games in a row, all by double-digits. Yes, they came against teams that aren’t considered to be in the upper echelon of the NFL, but the sign of a winning team is to punish bad teams.
The defense should get healthier in the coming weeks, and a player like Eric Kendricks could help. The offense will play three home games and one in a dome during the final four games. The hope is they continue to take a step forward. Perhaps the biggest surprise of all is the special teams units, who are currently 12th in schedule-adjusted efficiency.
