The San Francisco 49ers will be mostly healthy entering their Week 10 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Jauan Jennings, and defensive end Nick Bosa are all officially active for the 49ers on Sunday in Tampa Bay. That trio was listed as questionable on the injury report.
Samuel was limited all week in practice by oblique and rib injuries he suffered in Week 8. Jennings missed Weeks 7 and 8 with a hip injury he suffered against the Seahawks in Week 6. Bosa also dealt with a hip injury he sustained in practice.
Rookie safety Malik Mustapha is also in after being listed as questionable with a calf injury that cropped up during the week. Veteran Tashaun Gipson is up off the practice squad to provide depth if Mustapha can’t make it through Sunday’s game.
Here are the 49ers’ inactives:
QB Josh Dobbs (third QB)
CB Charvarius Ward (personal)
WR Chris Conley (hamstring)
DT Kevin Givens (groin)
TE Brayden Willis
OL Ben Bartch
There aren’t any surprises among the inactives. Running back Christian McCaffrey was listed as questionable because he wasn’t activated off IR when the injury report came out. The team officially activated him Saturday and opened the door for his return.
Sunday’s game will be his first this season after he missed the opener and was placed on IR in Week 2.
Kicker Jake Moody is also back after missing three games with a high ankle sprain on his right ankle. He was hurt making a special teams tackle in Week 5. His return was all but assured when the team released kicker Anders Carlson from the practice squad during the week.
