A few 49ers could trigger roster bonuses if they accomplish a specfic statistic

The San Francisco 49ers are about an hour and a half away from their final regular season game of 2024. As expected, the Niners will be without their starting quarterback and a couple of other key contributors.

Here’s the inactive list:

QB Brock Purdy

WR Deebo Samuel

CB Deommodore Lenoir

DE Robert Beal Jr.

RB Israel Abanikanda

DT Khalil Davis

CB Tre Avery

That means tight end George Kittle will play.

Kittle has a $500,000 per game roster bonus in his contract. So, even if he only plays a series or one play, it makes sense for the All-Pro tight end to suit up. It’s also a classy gesture by the organization. We’ve seen plenty of business decisions during Week 18 regarding paying specific roster bonuses.

Jauan Jennings needs 77 yards to reach 1,000 receiving yards for the season. That’s a rare feat for the 49ers, as Jennings would be the first in 49ers history to reach the 1,000-yard landmark. Jennings is 40 yards away from surpassing his receiving yards total from his first three seasons.

Leonard Floyd will trigger a roster bonus with one sack. He currently sits at 8.5. He’d reached nine in his previous four seasons.
