It was fun times in Iowa City for the Hawkeyes crew and friends.
The San Francisco 49ers have a heavy contingent in Iowa this weekend. TE George Kittle, QB C.J. Beathard, and CB Greg Mabin were all honored at the Iowa-Ohio State basketball game, and they were joined by WR Trent Taylor and TE Garrett Celek at the game.

It’s my understanding George Kittle and his fiancé Claire Till are celebrating their engagement in Iowa. They drove from the Bay Area to Iowa with their dog and were meant by the rest of the 49ers contingent. They got a fun game, with Iowa upsetting No. 16 Ohio State. The Hawkeyes took the lead early in the second half and rolled to victory, improving to 14-3 on the season.
Kittle and Taylor have been best buds for a while, and Beathard, Kittle, and Mabin were all teammates at Iowa. And it’s no surprise Kittle is buddies with his fellow tight end, Celek.
Here’s a few more pictures from the evening, including Kittle with a game ball presented to him by the university.
