49ers Film Room: CB Emmanuel Moseley

Today’s 49ers Film Room focuses on cornerback Emmanuel Moseley, who is slated to start in the San Francisco 49ers’ fourth game of the season against the Cleveland Browns. Moseley is a 5-foot-11 190-pound undrafted cornerback from Tennessee, signed by the 49ers in 2018, where he played in only 1 game and registered 1 tackle.

For the first 4 games of the 2019 season, Moseley has been a  special teams contributor, recording three tackles on punt and kick coverage before seeing defensive action against the Pittsburgh Steelers.  What can we expect from Moseley on Monday Night Football against the Cleveland Browns? We hope to see a speedy 4.42 defender who is also an aggressive playmaker and a strong tackler.

He will be challenged this week, as he will have to cover two of the NFL’s top wideouts in Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry. From what we’ve seen from his limited time in the NFL, he should be up for the task. Expect big things from Moseley in the coming weeks for the 49ers.
