The San Francisco 49ers injury report is a lengthy one for Thursday afternoon. The following players didn’t practice for the second day in a row:

EDGE Nick Bosa (knee, calf)
WR Mike Evans (ribs, Achilles)
LB Luke Gifford (groin)
S Siran Neal (knee)
WR Deebo Samuel (hamstring)
S Marques Sigle (ankle)
CB Upton Stout (shoulder)
LB Garret Wallow (hamstring)

Bosa wasn’t on hand for the portion of practice that was available to the media. Leading up to Week 6, Bosa told reporters he felt like he could play against Washington. It was “pretty darn likely” he’d suit up.

The 49ers could be overly cautious with their star player. At the podium on Thursday, defensive coordinator Raheem Morris mentioned, “You never want to rush the process.” If there’s any doubt and Bosa is less than 100%, give him a couple more weeks to rest up and have him ready to roll after the bye week.

Here’s a look at the limited participants:

S Ashtyn Davis (hamstring)
LB Jaden Dugger (knee)
EDGE Mykel Williams (knee)

That’s a good sign for Mykel, who was upgraded after missing Wednesday’s practice.
