Here’s the October 13th edition of Stats & Eggs, a quick, daily update of everything going on with the San Francisco 49ers, hosted by yours truly.
After a day to digest the debacle against the Dolphins, Kyle Shanahan had to face the music a little bit when he met with the media yesterday to try and explain Sunday’s performance.
Whether it was the health of Jimmy Garoppolo, the decision to start Brian Allen at cornerback, or the departure from the running game, all of Kyle’s answers pointed to one inescapable truth:
He is not confident in his team right now, and if they get down by multiple scores, they’re cooked.
Good thing they aren’t facing a string of good teams for the next seven games, right? Oh, wait…
