The run on Senior Bowl players for the 49ers continues. After Trey Lance, every player, the Niners have selected a Senior Bowl participant. In a year where information is tough to come by, San Francisco relied heavily on the big All-Star game in January.
With the No. 155, San Francisco selected Jaylon Moore from Western Michigan. Brandon Thorn, the resident offensive line expert, gave Moore a mid-fifth round grade:

Moore is a strong, stout blocker at the POA to be an effective lineman at the next level, but his lack of knee bend and ability to handle speed around the edge likely limits him to the right side.
Strengths: Anchor ability; Fast hands; Leg drive.
Weaknesses: Lacks knee bend; Speed rushers; Body control.
Moore best projects as a right tackle in a zone running scheme who could also kick down to right guard. His powerful blocking style and stoutness at the POA suits him better on the right side. That paired with his ability to anchor quickly allow him to be a versatile player that can be used at tackle and guard.
The 49ers are investing heavily in their QB this draft. As a fifth-rounder, Moore likely won’t come in and compete for a start. He’ll likely battle Colton McKivitz/Justin Skule to be the team’s swing offensive tackle/guard.
