It didn’t take long for the 49ers’ 53-man roster to get a couple tweaks.
Tuesday’s deadline to get from 80 players to 53 was followed up by a couple more roster moves in the following days by San Francisco to change up the group they’ll take into Week 1 of the regular season.
With defensive lineman Maurice Hurst and cornerback Davontae Harris both placed on Injured Reserve, they’ll both be out for at least three weeks. Hurst has a high ankle sprain, and Harris is working through a hamstring ailment.
There’ll be other roster maneuvers ahead of the opener in Detroit with practice squad elevations, but this is what their 53-man roster now looks like:
