After a long offseason holdout that ended with a new massive contract for Nick Bosa, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year started the season with a sack in his first two games.
With the primetime lights on for Thursday Night Football in the San Francisco 49ers’ home opener, the former Ohio State Buckeye wasted no time getting on the board with his first sack of the season.
With the Giants buried deep into their own territory at the 10-yard line, Bosa backed them up even further. On a free rush, Bosa exploded past Giants’ tight end Daniel Bellinger who was attempting to chip the 49ers edge, on his way to his first sack, pinning Daniel Jones and New York’s offense at the two-yard line.
