The Niners will miss Jennings
It’s finally here. We see the best team in the AFC, not the one who lost at home to the Las Vegas Raiders, take on the top seed in the NFC, not the squad who had a player run into his teammate on a kickoff.
Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave was on the field early warming up. The fact that the San Francisco 49ers only elevated one defensive tackle was a good sign that Hargrave would give it a go. He’s active tonight.
The Niners will need Hargrave to help contain Lamar Jackson and Baltimore’s rushing attack. They’ll also need Hargrave’s ability as a pass rusher. Interior pressure is king against mobile quarterbacks.
