SF 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals Week 16 live game thread, how to stream online on Amazon Prime Video or Twitch

Welcome to our SF 49ers live game-day thread for Week 16 of the 2020 NFL regular season, as the 5-9 San Francisco 49ers travel back to their temporary home in Glendale, AZ to faceoff against the 8-6 Arizona Cardinals at 1 p.m. on Dec. 26, 2020. Although the site has become quite familiar to the 49ers this year, the Cardinals will play hosts in today’s affair after defeating San Francisco at Levi’s Stadium in the season opener.

The Cardinals will be playing to win this afternoon, as they currently hold the seventh and final playoff seed in the NFC. They currently hold a one-game lead over the Chicago Bears — and would clinch a playoff berth with a victory and a Bears loss or tie — and are a game behind the Los Angeles Rams, who they face in Week 17.

Meanwhile, the 49ers — who have only pride and draft positioning on the line — will start the day with third-string quarterback C.J. Beathard under center. Beathard will have the surprising aid of star tight end George Kittle, who will return from injury for this relatively meaningless affair.

SF 49ers vs. Cardinals: How to watch
