Perhaps the lone downside to the 49ers 26-23 overtime win over Seattle was the impact it had on their pick in the 2019 NFL draft. A victory moved San Francisco to 4-10 and dropped them from No. 1 to the No. 4 overall pick according to Over the Cap.

San Francisco wraps up with a home game against the Bears before hitting the road to close the season in Los Angeles against the Rams. There’s a real possibility the Rams have all their playoff seeding wrapped up by that Week 17 showdown and opt to sit their starters. That makes it a much more winnable contest for the 49ers.

The 49ers are tied with the Jets and Jaguars with four wins. Strength of schedule will be the tiebreaker if they all finish the season with four wins. The Jets play the Packers and Patriots to end the year. Jacksonville has a pair of road games against the Dolphins and Texans.

Things get especially messy if San Francisco wins a fifth game. For now, they won and fell to No. 4, which is where they’re likely to stay if they don’t win again this year.
