There was a clear path forward for the 49ers with their 2024 draft picks. They were aiming to help their immediate depth while also preparing their roster for some turnover next offseason. While some of the onus for San Francisco’s future will fall onto the 2024 draft class, plenty of it will also fall to the 2022 draft picks.
The 49ers’ selections from that draft has borne some fruit, to be sure, but there are a handful of players the team will be relying on to either make a leap in 2024 or force the club to look elsewhere to fill those roster spots long-term.
