We don’t have a full schedule yet, but we do know who the 49ers will square off against in the 2019 NFL preseason.

Here’s a quick look at the tentative schedule, with two of four game dates, and three of four game times still to be determined:

Week 1 (Aug. 8-12): 49ers vs. Dallas Cowboys [KPIX]

Week 2 (Monday, Aug. 19): 49ers at Denver Broncos [ESPN, 5:00 PM]

Week 3 (Aug. 22-26): 49ers at Kansas City Chiefs [KPIX]

Week 4 (Thursday, Aug. 29): 49ers vs. Los Angeles Chargers [KPIX]

San Francisco will hold joint practices with Denver during the second week of the preseason leading up to their showdown according to reports.

Another story line to follow is Jimmy Garoppolo’s return to Kansas City for the final dress rehearsal of the preseason. Garoppolo should see at least some action in that game at the site where he tore his ACL in Week 3, ending his 2018 season.

The 49ers won’t see any of their 2019 preseason opponents during the regular season, although they did face three of them in the 2018 regular season. They beat Denver at home in Week 14, lost in Kansas City in Week 3, and fell to the Chargers in LA in Week 4.
