The Seahawks will have Geno Smith, but not Kenneth Murray

The 49ers released their final injury report ahead of Thursday’s matchup against the Seahawks. The following four players are listed as questionable:

G Aaron Banks (toe)
DE Robert Beal (hamstring)
G Spencer Burford (knee)
CB Samuel Womack (knee)

Banks remains on the injured reserve. When asked if he has a chance to play tomorrow, Kyle Shanahan said, “he does.”

Burford didn’t practice all week. Shanahan doesn’t believe his knee injury will be a long-term issue: “No, I think he would be all right if he played Sunday, but it’s a question here on Thursday. So it’s worrisome.”

Shanahan also said there’s an outside chance that newly signed Ben Bartch will play, since it’s a short week. He wouldn’t confirm whether Jon Feliciano practiced at right guard. Shanahan’s answer was “maybe,” when asked if Feliciano practiced on the right side.

It would be a great sign if the Niners activated Banks before Thursday’s game. He’d start on the left side if so, with Feliciano taking Burford’s place on the right side.

The Seahawks list quarterback Geno Smith as questionable, though Pete Carroll said he’d play. Running back Kenneth Walker is not as fortunate. He has an oblique injury and is listed as doubtful. Walker is an explosive back with multiple carries this season over 20 yards. So the 49ers defense catches a bit of a break there.

Seahawks’ offensive tackle Abraham Lucas is also listed as questionable with a knee injury, but will likely play as well. His injury is something to monitor as the 49ers could take advantage of a hobbled young tackle.
