ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that San Francisco 49ers free agent wide receiver Jauan Jennings is set to visit the Minnesota Vikings on Monday and Wednesday. This comes after the Miami Dolphins reportedly had interest in Jennings’ services.

The Vikings would be a great fit for Jennings. Minnesota just exercised Jordan Addison’s fifth-year option. Addison had his trespassing charge dropped in January. After Justin Jefferson and Addison, the Vikings have next to nothing at receiver. They didn’t draft or sign anybody in free agency. Tai Felton was a third-rounder in 2025. He finished the season with three receptions.

Kevin O’Connell comes from the Sean McVay tree. Jennings has played his entire career running the type of routes he’d run in O’Connell’s offense. Jennings needs to go somewhere that has speed around him. Jefferson and Addison have that. Assuming Kyler Murray wins the starting job, Jennings could be Minnesota’s “move the chains” receiver.

Jennings is likely looking at a one-year, $8 million deal that is heavily incentivized. In that offense, if Jennings has enough opportunities, he should be able to cash in.
