The 49ers were officially awarded a compensatory pick for the loss of outside linebacker Aaron Lynch last offseason. They acquired the 40th selection in the sixth-round of the 2019 NFL draft. It’ll be the No. 212 overall pick.

San Francisco now holds six picks in April’s draft. They don’t currently have a fifth or a seventh-round pick. Their Round 5 selection went to Detroit in the offensive lineman Laken Tomlinson trade prior to the 2017 season, and the Round 7 choice was dealt to Cleveland for offensive lineman Shon Coleman late last preseason.

Here is an updated list of the 49ers’ 2019 picks:

Round 1, Pick 2
Round 2, Pick 36
Round 3, Pick 67
Round 4, Pick 104
Round 6, Pick 176
Round 6, Pick 212

The draft is in Nashville, Tenn. this year. It begins Thursday, April 25, and runs through Saturday, April 27.
