The 49ers on Friday officially announced their undrafted free agent signings following the 2024 draft. They did so on the same day they began their rookie minicamp.
There were no surprises from the reported additions immediately following the draft. San Francisco has had some success finding contributors in the UDFA pool, but roster spots are harder to come by on this version of the 49ers. Opportunities will be there for some of the UDFAs, but others may be vying for practice squad spots in hopes of gaining larger roles in 2025 and beyond.
