Each NFL team is allowed a maximum of 30 official visits, but can travel to work out as many players as they can manage. We will not learn the facts on all 30 official visits, but we will cover what we can. The San Francisco 49ers are still finalizing their big board. This list, complied here, will at least give us an idea of the type of player or position that the Niners are interested in. I’ll describe the players that I know.

Nasir Adderley, S, Delaware (SR)

Adderley is the a rangy center field type safety. He is widely regarded as a first round talent. Adderley is more of a second round type player to me.

Blessuan Austin, CB, Rutgers (PRO)

Marquise Blair, S, Utah (SR)

Not sure where is range is, but it seems to be more of the top of the third round. Blair is another safety type that could come in and challenge at free. Blair is a very good athlete that doesn’t give up much in coverage. He doesn’t exactly qualify as that type of player that takes the ball away, either.

Nick Bosa^, DE/3-4OLB, Ohio State (COM, PRO)

Bosa is better than good at football.

A.J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss (COM)

Brown is a popular name that is more of a slot receiver. Or at least he was in college. Many think Brown is more refined than teammate D.K. Metcalf. Brown is a monster after the catch. He will make you miss.

L.J. Collier, DE/3-4DE, TCU (SR)

Collier is known as a power player. There are certain thresholds to me that if you cannot hit then I am out. Collier ran a 7.71 3-cone drill. No thanks.

Deshaun Davis, ILB, Auburn (SR)

Davis is a big hitter that is best when coming forward. He’s one of the better run stopping linebackers in the draft. Coverage wise? Not so much.

Rashan Gary, DE/3-4DE, Michigan (PRI)

Gary, to me, is just not an impact player when he rushes from the edge. He’s a completely different player when he kicks inside and can win with his athleticism. He’s a day three edge rusher and a day one defensive tackle.

Carl Granderson, DE/3-4OLB, Wyoming (SR)

Dre Greenlaw, OLB, Arkansas (PRI)

Anthony Johnson, WR, Buffalo (SR)

Tyree Kinnel, S, Michigan (EW)

David Long, OLB, West Virginia (SR)

Daylon Mack, DT/NT, Texas A&M (EW)

Bobby Okereke, ILB, Stanford (SR)

Didn’t look like a guy that can play in the NFL. Or at least at a high level. Okereke seemed like it took him minutes to get from point A to point B.

Charles Omenihu, DE, Texas (COM)

Justin Phillips, ILB, Oklahoma State (PRO)

Jachai Polite, DE/3-4OLB/OLB, Florida (COM)

Polite was pretty vocal about teams picking him apart at the combine. He did not react well and some think that he interviewed himself into day 3. Doesn’t help that Polite tested below average across the board. On the field? He’s a first round type player.

His play doesn’t matchup with his combine. It seems like he just hasn’t lifted a weight since the season ended.

Hunter Renfrow, WR, Clemson (COM)

If you watched college football, you know Renfrow. He was at Clemson for nine years. Renfrow showed well at the Senior Bowl. He was reliable during his time with the Tigers. He has some value in the slot. He might not be flashy and likely will have a limited ceiling. But he can get open underneath. That matters.
