The 49ers will enter their offseason with question marks all over their roster. There’ll be position battles for starting jobs at some spots, but mostly the club will be looking to sort out how its depth is going to look.
One position that may not have any drama is safety, where San Francisco has six players on the roster (not including undrafted rookies) and it would appear their 53-man roster spots are locked in. Let’s run through a projected depth chart:
