Nick Bosa would be certainly nice, but the 49ers wanted to trade down it seemed like, based on Lynch’s press conference. They just didn’t want a lowball offer. With Nick Bosa on the board, there’s a juicy prospect waiting for a team.

The 49ers have some more ammo to fill the few remaining holes in the Kyle Shanahan roster turnover. They have some positions of need and this will let them start some wheeling and dealing if they so desire. Of course, we also know that adding picks doesn’t matter if you don’t actually hit on them. Trent Baalke as great at dealing to add draft picks, but he missed on enough of the picks that it eventually cost him his job.
