These numbers keep getting bigger, but the 49ers have been winning by margin.

Depending on what number you had, the 49ers covered once again versus the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. If you didn’t get to San Francisco until the news hit that Drew Lock would start, unfortunately, a 28-16 wouldn’t have been enough to cash your ticket.

Turning the page to the Arizona Cardinals, who are coming off a late bye week and will host the Niners. Still, the Cardinals are near two touchdown underdogs in Week 15. Oddsmakers have made the 49ers 13.5-point road favorites with a relatively high total at 47 at DraftKings Sportsbook.

That suggests the Niners win by a score in the ballpark of 31-17. The 49ers defense hasn’t allowed a team to score north of 20 points since Week 7. They’ve only surrendered 20+ points twice all season and have faced some of the best offense’s in the NFC.

In Kyler Murray’s four starts, Arizona has scored 25, 16, 14, and 24 points. Murray is only completing 60 percent of his passes with three touchdowns to two interceptions, but has flashed plenty of arm strength for big plays and the athleticism that can drive you crazy as a defensive coordinator.

The Cardinals’ struggles come on the other side of the ball. They gave up 37 points to the Rams in Week 12. On the season, the Cardinals are 31st in DVOA. They’re 28th against the run and 30th against the pass. They’ve faced a difficult schedule, but it’s also against an offense that nobody has stopped.

Jonathan Gannon has coached well in Year 1, but the Cardinals simply don’t have the horses to compete against premier talent. Guess what the 49ers have?
