The San Francisco 49ers will take on the Las Vegas Raiders in their preseason finale. This will be a dress rehearsal for the 49ers. The Raiders named Gardner Minshew as their starting quarterback, so there’s nothing for them to play for.

Brandon Aiyuk is in the building, on the way when the Washington Commanders reportedly entered the chat as a potential trade partner. He’ll be the only weapon, outside of Christian McCaffrey, who won’t suit up tonight.

We won’t see Nick Bosa or Fred Warner—for good reason—but everybody else on defense will play. And since the Raiders are effectively punting this game, the Niners should come out and make a statement on both sides of the ball.

Ideally, the offense gets a couple of drives, and they score on both possessions, while Brock Purdy looks sharp. On defense, it’s all about turnovers.
