Comments, “San Fran it is then”

In this hectic day of news to begin draft week, we have something to show you that happened from last week. Jerry Rice took Ole Miss wide receiver A.J. Brown to run the infamous hill at the Edgewood Park & Natural Preserve. Well, there was a bit more to that photo we showed you. On his Instagram account, Rice had this photo to show everyone. Don’t just look at the photo, look at Rice’s caption and Brown’s comment (highlighted):

Well then. There’s a few things to take from this, the first and most important: I don’t think Rice lets just anyone wear his three Super Bowl rings and AFC Championship ring (I believe that’s his fourth ring there). A.J. Brown is not only the first person in recent memory to hit the hill with Rice, but he’s also one of the first people I’ve seen Rice allow to pose with the rings.

Then there’s that comment. Does it mean Brown wants to come to San Francisco? Maybe. Brown doesn’t have much of a choice in his team. He might go in the first round, he might slip. The thing to take away from here is, Brown indicates he may want to come to San Francisco. Lots of other draft picks might be lobbying on where they want to go in the draft, but the 49ers could use some wide receiver help. Should they go get Brown? Sounds like he wants to come on over.
