A role for every 49ers pick in ESPN 7-round mock draft

A new seven-round mock draft by ESPN’s Matt Miller offers some good insight into how the 49ers can build a draft that checks virtually every box they need to hit in this year’s draft. There aren’t any trades for San Francisco, so they make all 10 of their selections in the seven-round projections. That’s unlikely to be the case given the lack of roster spots available for rookies.

We took a look at each prospect Miller sent to the 49ers and tried to assign an ideal role for each player if they did wind up in San Francisco during the 2024 draft.
