Looking at the best available prospects for Day Three of the 2019 NFL Draft.

The San Francisco 49er made one thing very clear on Friday evening. They were out to improve and build upon their receiving unit for 2019 and beyond. It started with the selection of Debo Samuel 36th overall in the second round. I happen to be a big fan of Deebo Samuel and what he brings to the table. Earlier in the draft process I did a write-up on Samuel and explained how he was one of the most pro-ready receivers this draft class has to offer. Lynch and Shanahan made a great choice in selecting Samuel and I believe as long as he can stay healthy he can make an impact as early as week 1 of 2019.

What probably came as a surprise to most, if not all was the team doubling down on receivers and taking Jalen Hurd. Sure, he wasn’t a big name coming into the draft, however brings the size and physical traits that can lead to mismatches for opposing defenses. I am excited to see how Tate fits in with this offense and how he clicks with Samuel, George Kittle, Dante Pettis, and Jordan Matthews.

With all that said, we now turn our attention to the final day of the NFL Draft which will deliver four rounds of action. At the moment the 49ers have three picks remaining. One selection in the 4th round and two selections in the sixth round. The team has addressed big needs at defensive end (Nick Bosa) and wide receiver (Deebo Samuel and Jalen Hurd). However, there are other areas the team should still address, particularly in the secondary on defense and along the offense line. Below is a list of the best available players heading into day 3!
