Chris Biderman of the Sacramento Bee and Kyle Madson dive into the 49ers’ free agency moves with an eye toward the NFL draft. San Francisco’s splash signing of Kwon Alexander and the trade for Dee Ford moved some things around in terms of their needs.
Their lack of attention to the safety position in free agency means it should probably be pushed up their draft board, so the guys take a look at some safeties who should be available late in the first round or on Day 2.
