The rout is back on in Santa Clara. After the Panthers started to climb back into the game and pulled with 27-13, the 49ers went 75 yards on eight plays, and capped their drive with a 20-yard run by rookie wide receiver Deebo Samuel.

That play design is nasty. Samuel scored seven rushing touchdowns in three years at South Carolina. His multifaceted skill set has been on display vs. the Panthers.
