The 49ers want the No. 1 seed. So, they’ll need some help

We have a Monday Night Football game that’s watchable as it’s a Super Bowl rematch between Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs and Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles.

If the San Francisco 49ers have any shot of obtaining the No. 1 seed, they’ll need the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles to slip up along the way. The Eagles will be without tight end Dallas Goedert tonight. Also, I’m not sure if Jalen Hurts is 100 percent healthy. He can also be prone to mistakes against the blitz.

On the other side of the ball, it’s Patrick Mahomes against a team that struggles against the pass. The Chiefs are 2.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total of the game set at 46.
