Two former big name Niners set to announce two of the teams draft picks
It had almost been an entire week since we last mentioned former San Francisco 49er legend Terrell Owens. Straight from the horses mouth, Owens will announce the teams third round pick in this years upcoming draft. Owens was taken in Round 3 of the 1996 draft out of Chattanooga.
Owens combine numbers didn’t come close to telling the story of the type of athlete he was. Owens always had unreal acceleration.

You would guess much better after knowing what Owens is capable of. Those don’t look like the numbers of a five-time All-Pro receiver.
Before Owens takes the stage, Earl Cooper will. Cooper was the 13th overall pick in the 1980 draft. He caught a touchdown pass from Joe Montana in the team’s win over the Bengals in Super Bowl XVI. Cooper was with the 49ers for six seasons.
