The 49ers’ top need in this year’s draft is a fairly obvious one. They need to find upgrades at a couple offensive line spots, but right tackle is the most pressing need after an up-and-down year from Colton McKivitz last season — his first as a full-time NFL starter.

This year’s class is very deep at that position, which is good news for the 49ers. The bad news is they’ll be hard-pressed to find a top-end tackle talent who will slide to them all the way down at No. 31 overall according to ESPN’s analytics model.

We took a look at the ESPN Draft Day predictor and only one of the top four or five tackle prospects is even listed as a potential option at No. 31 overall, and the chances that player falls to them are extremely low.
