Which 49ers are you going to draft for your team?

One thing you will have to let me know is if you are interested in fantasy football. We can do weekly start/sit articles on San Francisco 49ers based on the matchups that week. That can be for “IDP” leagues, too. If you never want to talk about fantasy football again, this will be the last article you see on it. So let me know.

Rotoworld’s Evan Silva just released his pre-draft projection of the top 150 fantasy football players for the 2019 NFL season. Depending on who the 49ers draft, we could see a rookie in this list when it’s updated after the draft.

49ers players

23. George Kittle (ADP: TE3) – Broke Gronk’s record for single-season receiving yards (1,377) by a TE.

Kittle was nothing short of incredible in 2018. Getting more talent on the perimeter will only make Kittle better. Not to mention playing with a starting QB.

49. Tevin Coleman (ADP: RB27) – Handpicked by Kyle Shanahan twice. Favorite to lead SF in carries.

If you had Coleman as the next skill player on this list, come collect your prize. I didn’t know that this was a thing. Coleman is expected to lead the offense in carries? I was under the impression that it would be a running back by committee and Shanahan would play the matchups depending on the opponent. That’s not to takeaway from Coleman, who has obvious value.

63. Dante Pettis (ADP: WR32) – Favorite for 49ers No. 1 wideout duties with Jimmy G coming back.

A full season of Pettis with a healthy Jimmy Garoppolo will be fun for us. Pettis showed plenty of promise as a rookie. Getting a little more consistent and a lot more healthy could get Pettis into that top 15-20 receiver talk.

84. Matt Breida (ADP: RB41) – Went over 1,000 total yards & averaged 5.3 YPC playing on one leg.

“Playing on one leg” is funny. Every team needs a Brieda, so I never understood seeing people say he should be used as a trade chip. They’re out there, trust me. It’ll be interesting to see the type of role carved out for Brieda early in the season when everyone is healthy.

144. Marquise Goodwin (ADP: WR54) – Brittle boom-bust WR w/ uncertain role after 2018 flop.

Uncertain is the best way to describe Goodwin and his role in 2019. Goodwin may be getting booted for a rookie receiver.
