The NFL preseason is less than two months away, meaning your fantasy football draft is right around the corner. With training camp beginning for most teams at the end of July, fantasy players will begin doing their homework on draft targets throughout the league.

Coach Kyle Shanahan’s debut season in San Francisco put the 49ers on the map. With new franchise Jimmy Garoppolo at the helm, there are several integral pieces of the 49ers’ offense that are no longer sleepers and should be considered worthwhile additions to any team.

We’ve listed five players from the 49ers that deserve a spot on your fantasy roster.

WR Marquise Goodwin

Goodwin had a career-year in 2017, totaling more receptions and yards than his previous four years combined. Veteran Pierre Garçon’s season-ending next injury midway through the season propelled Goodwin to the forefront of the 49ers’ receiving corps, leading the team with 56 receptions for 962 yards.

Goodwin’s production in 2018, however, is far from a guarantee. Garçon returns to the starting lineup along with second-round pick Dante Pettis. The 49ers also signed running back Jerick McKinnon, who excels as a pass catcher. On the other hand, Goodwin developed a solid chemistry with Garoppolo in his five starts to close the season. The pair hooked up 43 times for 384 yards and a touchdown during that span, making Goodwin an intriguing late-round pick.
