Marquise Goodwin finished 10th in the long jump at the 2012 Olympics in London and remains one of the best athletes in the NFL.
The 49ers receiver showed off that world-class athleticism on Instagram this week, casually hopping over a Lamborghini in some Air Jordan 1s, which aren’t exactly performance sneakers these days. Take a look:
Goodwin had his best season as a pro with San Francisco in 2017, logging 56 receptions for 962 yards. His 17.2-yard average per reception was third in the NFL. His catch and yardage totals were better than his previous four seasons in Buffalo combined.
The 49ers signed Goodwin to a modest two-year, $6-million deal last spring to provide a deep threat to Kyle Shanahan’s offense. But after acclimating well with Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback and evolving into a versatile route runner, the team might decide to give him a more lucrative extension – as long as he doesn’t injure himself hurdling sports cars in the meantime.
