Jimmy Garoppolo was not listed in the top-10.

Madden ‘21 released their rankings, and that always gets people fired up. For the San Francisco 49ers, one player is missing in their top 10:

George Kittle – 98 Trent Williams – 92 Richard Sherman – 92 Nick Bosa – 89 Fred Warner – 87 Arik Armstead – 86 Kyle Juszczyk – 86 Dee Ford – 85 Mike McGlinchey – 85 Raheem Mostert – 84

You could probably swap McGlinchey and Jimmy Garoppolo, who is an 83 overall, and I don’t think there’d have been as much complaining. Mind-boggling to me that Bosa is an 89. Not because he doesn’t deserve it, but just how good he was as a rookie. I feel like we’re already taking him for granted.

Three players ranked in the 90s is always nice. Only four players have a higher rating than Kittle. Madden got Warner’s ranking right. He’s a stud, and I cannot wait for people who still aren’t familiar with Warner to find out about him this season.
