A daily compilation of 49ers news from around the net. Monday, February 25th, 2019 edition.

Good morning folks, and a happy Monday to you all. Short edition tonight, as I’m in the middle of exam week and time is at a premium. Luckily, we’re at a quiet time of year when prognostication rules the day. However, the combine will begin on Tuesday, and soon we’ll have some concrete information to pair with the turbo-mocks.

It’s an exciting time to be a 49ers fan. Many players at positions of need are available, and the prospect of filling some of those glaring holes – in addition to bringing back Jimmy Garoppolo and Jerick McKinnon – bodes well for this young team. Should the team bolster their ineffectual pass rush from the edges, as well as add a perimeter threat on offense, I’d wager that the squad as a whole should be much improved. As much as I was waiting for the 2018 season to be put out of it’s misery, 2019 can’t come quick enough.

And like that, I sound like a Browns fan.
