“A similar deal for Aiyuk presumably would be palatable for the 49ers. But Aiyuk could be eyeing a top-of-the-market extension that could place him in the neighborhood of Miami’s Tyreek Hill ($30 million). In addition, Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson and Dallas’ CeeDee Lamb, fellow members of Aiyuk’s draft class, also are seeking extensions this offseason that could eclipse $30 million annually.
Aiyuk is less accomplished than Hill, Jefferson and Lamb, but he probably merits an extension that tops that of Smith, whose extension won’t take effect until 2026, making it less valuable.
Based on recent history, Aiyuk and the 49ers will find middle ground. But perhaps not anytime soon.”
Purdy admits 49ers ‘still stinging’ from Super Bowl LVIII loss

Overall, Bethune is a fast-flow linebacker who plays with intent and coverage upside, but his aggressive nature will be used against him at the NFL level. He projects as an NFL backup and special teamer.”
“Wilson acknowledges Bates’ versatility, noting that he played snaps at fullback during the Hula Bowl. San Francisco might be interested in Bates as a blocker, an area of his game that has garnered interest from NFL scouts.”
