49ers’ John Lynch, Chris Foerster on hand for Washington Huskies pro day

“Fautanu is considered one of the top offensive linemen in the draft, but he isn’t likely to be available when the 49ers pick at 31. Would Lynch consider trading up? The 49ers need to address the offensive line, and although a rookie may not be able to come in and grab a starting spot, San Francisco still needs to upgrade its depth. The 49ers must also begin preparing for the eventual retirement of future Hall of Fame tackle, Trent Williams.

Rosengarten is also intriguing to the 49ers because of his experience and background. His high school football coach was Ed McCaffrey, who won three Super Bowls with Mike Shanahan in San Francisco and Denver. So Rosengarten should be well-versed in Kyle Shanahan’s zone-based scheme. As a bonus, he is the fastest offensive lineman in this year’s draft. He may be an excellent fit for Shanahan’s offense.

And if that wasn’t enough, former 49ers tackle Joe Staley trains Rosengarten.”

Steelers are reportedly still pursuing 49ers’ Brandon Aiyuk

“This is the season of rumors and lies, so we likely will hear similar things involving Aiyuk. But it is interesting to note that this is the second time Pittsburgh has been named as a team pursuing Aiyuk.”

Details emerge on CB Rock Ya-Sin’s 1-year deal with 49ers

“The team signed cornerback Rock Ya-Sin to a one-year deal worth $1.2925 million, with $1.05625 million fully guaranteed.”
