The 49ers largely ignored their offense during the first couple free agency waves, and instead loaded up on the other side of the ball where a couple of key departures highlighted the early part of their offseason.
San Francisco’s biggest additions so far in 2024 have been defensive ends Leonard Floyd and Yetur Gross-Matos, and defensive tackles Maliek Collins and Jordan Elliott. They also snagged linebacker De’Vondre Campbell and cornerback Isaac Yiadom.
While they’ve made some strong acquisitions, the question still remains as to whether they’ve gotten better so far this offseason. Let’s take a position-by-position look:
