The 2-0 49ers open their home slate against an 0-2 Pittsburgh club that’s missing its starting quarterback. That’s typically a recipe for a home win, but the Steelers aren’t going to go down easily with their backs against the wall.

For San Francisco its their first game at Levi’s Stadium with a winning record since 2014. It’s also the first time they’ve been two games above .500 since 2014. They have a chance to move to 3-0 for the first time since 1998.

Sunday’s game is arguably the biggest 49ers game since the 2014 NFC championship game in Seattle. If they win, the games will only get larger.
