This is the fourth wide receiver visit of the month for the Niners

The San Francisco 49ers continue to bring in wide receivers for the NFL Draft. These aren’t exactly late round targets, either. On Tuesday, Iowa State wide receiver Hakeem Butler visited the 49ers, per Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports. Butler is the fourth wide receiver visit of the month. All of the receivers that have visited are mocked somewhere between the late 20’s to the Late 30’s. You be the judge.

The 6-foot-5 Butler is known to make the spectacular catch. He can certainly go up and get it. Butler is also fast. He ran a 4.48 in the 40-yard dash at the combine. You get a chance to see Butler’s athleticism when the ball is in his hands. The knocks on Butler are that he is not a sudden athlete and his route running suffers from it. Also the drops. The good news is that Butler will be a red zone nightmare.

Butler caught 60 passes for a school-record 1,318 yards and nine touchdowns in his final year with the Cyclones.
