Nick Bosa should make his NFL debut Sunday in Tampa Bay barring any setbacks in his recovery from an ankle injury. The rookie defensive end will take the field in a 49ers uniform for the first time in an awesome pair of Jordan brand cleats — a gift from quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

Garoppolo signed a deal with Jordan last year, and also wears their cleats. He made sure the No. 2 overall pick will hit the field in style. Chris Biderman of the Sacramento Bee, and Nick Wagoner of ESPN had photos of Bosa’s footwear for Sunday:

These shoes, courtesy of QB Jimmy Garoppolo, are the likely gameday choice for DE Nick Bosa for his NFL debut on Sunday in Tampa. pic.twitter.com/kNjLL8v68k

There’s no confirmation that he’s rocking these in Tampa, but why wouldn’t he? Team color Jordan 1s are extremely difficult to beat.

If Bosa looks as good rushing the passer as his cleats do, the 49ers will have a much easier time slowing down a passing attack that carved them up less than a year ago.
