Kendrick Bourne was one of his targets
Earlier this week, the San Francisco 49ers kicked off their voluntary workout phase in Santa Clara. During phase one, it’s mainly just strength & conditioning with agility work mixed in. The next phase is when the on-field activities begin.
On Friday afternoon, the Niners gunslinger was seen throwing to teammates at San Jose State.

I supposed the knee brace is notable. All that did was turn into a “who is he throwing to?” debate.
Alex did some digging, and found out one of the receivers is Kendrick Bourne.

Bourne’s role will be interesting in 2019. We know the team will bring in another receiver during the draft. With the addition of Jordan Matthews, where does that leave Bourne? That will likely sort itself out.
This probably isn’t anything out of the ordinary, but it’s cool to see the guys working together. Form that chemistry. You see plenty of players that don’t even show up to the voluntary portions of the offseason program. This is a good thing.
